“Emma and Susan are marvellous instructors and my body is so much stronger as a result of their classes. I was really feeling my age and I feel like I have been able to turn the clock back somewhat.”
Emily S
“I was nervous about trying something new, but Emma and Sue are so lovely and make you feel completely at ease.”
Martina Vincenzi
“I always leave feeling stronger and taller. One of the things that really sets this studio apart is that classes change every week, so it's actually quite rare to do the same session twice in a row.”

“A really fun and friendly environment. I had no idea what to expect having never done anything like this before.”
Suzanne Rose
“The studio is super friendly, classes are accessible and well explained, and there is always a build on the exercises so you can push further if you wish. Definitely seeing results too!”
Naomi Parfitt
“Emma is so supportive and encouraging, from a new beginner to nearly 4 months in to the reformer Pilates I can honestly say it's change my perspective of exercise!”
Rachel Syder
“Both Emma and Sue are fantastic instructors who genuinely take the time to understand individual needs. Their classes are engaging, varied and never boring.”
Lauren
“After every class, I feel stronger, fitter and totally fulfilled, if a little tired and with slightly wobbly legs!”
Who this is for
No trends. No noise. Just smart movement that builds real strength. No prior experience is required for any class.

Expert coaching and personal attention, in a room where you are not filling a reformer. Reviewers name Emma and Sue individually, over and over, for taking the time to understand what each person needs.

Foundation, Level 1, Level 2, then Apply. You start where you are, and you move up when the structure and the teacher say you are ready, not when you guess.

Energy, not exhaustion. You'll work hard. You might shake a bit. But you'll leave feeling better, not broken.

Park Farm in Brooke, six miles south of Norwich. Free parking directly outside, an on-site cafe, and the space to actually switch off afterwards.
The basics
Never used one? Here's the short version. No jargon, no prior experience needed.
The reformer is a carriage on springs that adds both resistance and support to controlled movement. Low impact, full body, and the springs do the scaling for you.
Foundation, then Level 1, then Level 2, then Apply. Level 2 opens up after roughly three to five Level 1 sessions, or whenever your teacher says you're ready.
Classes are built on load and progression rather than slow lengthening. Energy, not exhaustion.
Every cue is spoken, so nobody adjusts your body without asking, and you breathe how you breathe.
The slow, breath-obsessed, hands-on version of Pilates is not what happens here. Emma's approach is modern, dynamic and evidence-based, with no rigid rules. The workout changes week to week, which is why members say it's rare to do the same session twice in a row. We change the workout but never the work.
Nine formats, one method
Serious about movement. Relaxed about everything else.

Same method, more time to settle in.
A slowed-down introduction to the studio's method, running the same structure as Level 1 with more room to find your feet. For anyone new to the reformer, coming back after a break, or who just wants a supported start.

The core class.
Evidence-based and structured, built around strength, mobility and better movement shapes. For beginners, and for anyone ready to train with more intent.

More load, more coordination.
Increased load, complexity and coordination on the same apparatus. Open to you after roughly three to five Level 1 sessions, or by a quick chat with your teacher.

Organised intensity.
Station-based interval training on the reformer. Strength work with your heart rate up. This isn't chaos, it's organised intensity.

Controlled unpredictability.
Small props and the jumpboard used to keep you guessing, building adaptability, resilience and reactive coordination. You'll never quite predict what's coming.

Minimal hand-holding.
For experienced clients. Less instruction, higher expectation of control and precision. You already know what you're doing here.
Mat-based, no springs, no assistance. Bodyweight strength and control with small hand weights, a magic circle and bands. Open level.
Full-body strength and conditioning across ten stations using free weights and bodyweight. Push, pull, squat, lunge, hinge.
A 30-minute mobility reset once a week. Range of motion, less stiffness, guided breathing. Calm. Grounded. Human.
Meet the team
Teaches matwork, yoga, circuits and reformer
I've always loved movement. As a dancer I learned early how much cross-training changes you, and that's where Pilates came in. It transformed my strength, precision and mobility, and later, as a new mum, it helped me rebuild not just physically but mentally too.
Now I help busy people in and around Norwich, from everyday athletes to those just starting out, build strength, move better and feel properly energised. My approach is modern, dynamic and evidence-based. No rigid rules, just movement that works for real life.
“We don't exist to make you 'perfect.' We exist to make you powerful.”

Twenty years in CT and MRI before Pilates
Sue spent twenty years working in CT and MRI departments across the region, helping patients through some of their most vulnerable moments, before changing career entirely.
She's the newest member of the team and the one reviewers most often mention alongside Emma for taking the time to understand what an individual body actually needs.
“It's never too late to try something new, even a whole new career.”

Shirin has been coming to reformer classes with Emma for a couple of years. What kept her was the structure: the sessions build, so she could see her own abilities moving rather than just turning up. That structure carried her through pregnancy and postpartum too, when most exercise routines quietly stop.
“I've also seen progression in my abilities and been encouraged to do so by Emma and the structure of her sessions. It's helped me immensely through pregnancy and post partum too and Emma is the best energy.”
- Shirin, reformer member for two years

One to one
You do not need a 1:1 before you start. No prior experience is required for any class, and the graded levels exist so you can arrive at Foundation knowing nothing. Some members do choose private sessions alongside classes, for a specific injury, a return after a long break, or simply to work through something at their own pace.
Mention it when you come in for your first class and we'll sort it from there.
